Soccer

Tonight, my soccer team recovered from our losses to win 3-1. I left soccer practice last night feeling frustrated with myself and my playing level when compared to the team we have become over the past three years. I rely overly on brute force to often neutral effect or the soccer equivalent of “icing”. My commitment to developing myself on the field, as in the gym, lacks follow-through. That is perhaps my greatest weakness on (or off) the field – I play a defensive, reticent game and don’t chase the ball once I have possession. I panic; I defer the decision.
