Movie Going

There are some commercials that aren’t annoying but actually amusing. And of course, we process commercials subconsciously with jingles popping up at the most inappropriate times. The one place that fills me with rage to view commercials is after I’ve paid $12.50 for my movie and sit down to watch trailers…and have to sit through ten minutes of commercials first. You can’t tell me the movie theatres aren’t making enough money on ticket prices and popcorn – not with weekend box office draws numbering in the amounts greater than some countries GNP. I’m there to see a movie, not to shop.
