Personal preference

I like stories, tv shows or movies that show the characters involved in the small every day activities that everyone participates in. Getting up in the morning, going to the bathroom, shower rituals or the preparation of the morning’s coffee. Or tea. Whatever the character prefers – it could even be a straight up whiskey. Most times one is left to wonder just where the bathroom is on an intergalactic space cruiser. Perhaps that necessity was removed through the process of evolution. Be that as it may, I like the humanization that small moments of routine or tedium grant a character.
